In the Diocese of Springfield, confirmation is normally conferred on students in the 11th grade. We provide confirmation preparation in our junior curriculum.
We partner with Saint Mary’s Parish’s Office of Religious Education to offer confirmation to our students in the spring of junior year. We also welcome students from other parishes who wish to be confirmed here.
If students wish to be confirmed in their own parish, we will be happy to assist in any way we can.
If a student is not baptized or is baptized in a different Christian denomination and wishes to become a Catholic, we host a preparation program called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This program in conjunction with Saint Mary’s Parish will prepare students and/or their families for entry into the Church at the Easter Vigil. This program is also for those Catholics who are baptized but have not received their First Communion.
The program begins in the fall and is tailored to the needs of the recipients. Please ask Mr. Lepage for more information.
