that Jesus Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever-present teacher in all its classes, the model of its faculty, and the inspiration for its students.

At St. Mary’s, we begin each day with a school-wide prayer to foster an awareness in the students of the presence of God in their daily lives.

As our mission statement says, we strive to be guided always by the Gospel of Jesus. We foster the spiritual growth of our students and help them to develop a desire to serve God and others.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

The campus ministry program at Saint Mary’s seeks to safeguard and promote Catholic identity in all aspects of our school. We sponsor opportunities for prayer, spiritual growth, and community for all students and staff.

What We Offer

Weekly school-wide Mass with opportunities to sing in the choir, to read, and to serve
Events in the Chapel, such as Rosary in the morning and Eucharistic Adoration
Pilgrimage to the Seven Churches on Holy Thursday
March for Life in Washington, DC in January
Events celebrating the life of Blessed Stanley Rother
Daily school prayer in the morning
November Mass of Remembrance for deceased alumni
Regular opportunities for confession

Spring Retreat for seniors
Lenten Stations of the Cross
Prayer services for teachers
Confirmation preparation for juniors
RCIA for those who wish to become Catholic
Connections to youth ministry events sponsored by local parishes and the Diocese of Springfield
