Having been part of the St. Mary’s family for over 20 years, I’ve seen the school through the lens of a teacher, a parent, and the principal. St. Mary’s has my heart and soul. I have every confidence in our faith based educational setting when I give tours or promote our school in any setting. Our certified teachers are dedicated to academic rigor and high expectations of outstanding moral character and integrity. St. Mary’s Elementary School provides quality Catholic education to children in our Early Childhood program (ages 3 and 4) through grade 8. Once they’ve graduated, we also have St. Mary’s High School on our same campus for grades 9-12.
Our school has been in existence since 1898 when it was opened by the Sisters of St. Joseph. We are a single-track school that welcomes students of all faiths but focuses on Catholicism. Our second graders have the option to make their First Holy Communion with their classmates or in their home parish. Religion is taught every day and we attend Mass as a school. Our students are taught to live “The Golden Rule”.
St. Mary’s is a school that allows each student to shine. We strive to develop spiritual growth, academic success, character, and integrity in all of our students. Guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supported by families, we provide a quality Catholic education where students are challenged to reach their highest potential.
St. Mary’s is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Our certified teachers go above and beyond to reach each child in their care and take great pride in the successes of their students. We offer extra-curricular activities to promote a well-rounded school experience.
St. Mary’s is not only a school, but a foundation for nurturing children of God into faithful, confident, contributing members of society.
Thank you for considering our school.
