Welcome to St Mary's Parish Elementary and Middle School

St. Mary’s School was founded in 1898 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph.  We are an inclusive, Catholic school offering a supportive, caring environment.  We value the partnership between our families, parishioners, faculty and staff.  We are truly a community.

Guided by our Pastor Fr. John Salatino, our students pray every single day, attend Mass weekly and on Holy Days of Obligation.  At St. Mary’s School, students are challenged to become the best version of themselves.  Our students learn the importance of service to others, and learn to treat all people with respect.  St. Mary’s students have a strong foundation upon which they can build.  Our students develop faith in God, self-discipline and reliance, and a love of life-long learning.

Our lovely campus includes two Early Childhood buildings where classes for pre-school children aged 3 and 4 take place.  Our Elementary & Middle School building houses Kindergarten through Grade 8.  Many of our Middle School graduates choose to attend St. Mary’s High School in Grades 9-12, also conveniently located on our campus.

St. Mary’s Elementary and Middle School is steeped in academic excellence.  We are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (N.E.A.S.C.).  Our teachers are certified and dedicated to the success of each child.  All students in Grades 3-8 have laptop computers ensuring the integration of technology across the curriculum.  In addition to the core academic subjects (reading, writing, grammar, mathematics, science, social studies) our students enjoy specials including Music, Art, Library, Technology, and Physical Education.  Middle School students study Spanish.  Religion is taught every day in all grades.

St. Mary’s recognizes the challenges of busy parents and offers Early Drop Off as well as Extended Day hours Monday-Friday.  Lunch is provided daily.  Extra Curricular Activities at our school include:

  • Mad Science – Grades K-5
