Why St. Mary’s?

One of the most important decisions a parent makes is choosing where their child will attend school. Since 1898, St. Mary’s Parish School has been educating and shaping leaders in a Catholic, comprehensive, college-preparatory environment.

Our passion for excellence in all subjects is what drives us at St. Mary’s Parish School to help our students become their best selves- academically, socially, and spiritually.

Academically, we set up our students for success by teaching them to excel by combining a traditional curriculum with 21st century skills from preschool to high school graduation.

Socially, St. Mary’s is a community built upon a foundation of kindness, acceptance, and integrity.

Our members look out for one another, and the friendships that blossom here last a lifetime.

Spiritually, as our school is founded on Catholic doctrine, students will broaden and deepen their understanding of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through their religious studies, all students gain the tools to translate those teachings of morality and justice into their own lives and the world. St. Mary’s students understand that faith is a lifelong journey of prayer, learning, and service.

Ultimately, this reflection helps them grow as members of the Church, broadens their perspectives, and deepens their connections with God and those around them.

We are proud of the exceptional education we provide our students; every year, they receive acclaim in all areas of student life – academics, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. We recognize our seniors’ successes as they receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and continue to be accepted all over the nation at esteemed colleges and universities.

During the past few years, St. Mary’s Parish School has continued to grow and thrive.  Thanks to financial donations we have introduced a 1:1 laptop program, increased the number of educational electives, fully utilized the Virtual High School Collaborative so students may take advantage of specialized courses outside of our traditional course offerings, and upgraded our facilities.

It is our mission that makes our school a special place.

Students, teachers, staff and parents strive to follow the teachings of God by being our very best. From our littlest learners to our seniors preparing for college, we are focused on guiding our students to grow in their spiritual, intellectual, and physical well-being. For anyone interested in joining the St. Mary’s Parish School community, we recommend visiting our campus to see what makes us different firsthand.

Please also feel free to contact our admissions office and schedule an appointment to learn more about us and our school. We welcome the opportunity to provide you with a tour of our facility, answer any questions you may have, and introduce you and your children to faculty, staff, and students so that you may see firsthand the strong relationships and dedication shared by our community.

Placement Tests

At St. Mary’s Parish School, we want all of our students to achieve their fullest potential. In order to teach our students properly, we offer every prospective freshman to take our placement test to discover their strengths and weaknesses. If you were not able to take the placement test, we request a personal interview, transcripts, and parent’s input.
